i didnt think there was a formal way to lace shoes.
to be honest, i doubt your bride or anyone else will even notice. the important thing is that you are there to make your vows

The question is not how would you lace your shoes, it’s what kind of shoes should you wear. You should wear nice dress shoes to a wedding, not sneakers or anything like that.
    Try something like this:

i don’t really think that there is a formal way
just do it the normal way :)

The most formal way makes the laces lie in lines across the top of the shoe. Start at the bottom left and take the lace to the top hole. Pull enough from the top hole to tie the knot when you are finished. Now, go to the bottom hole and thread the lace through the other bottom hole from the outside and through the second hole from the inside on the opposite side. Then across to the outside of the second hole on the first side, and so on.

there is no formal way, but try to have your pant leg cover the lace.

I’d give the points to Stoopid, that’s effort there, and I applaud Him.
