Let your girls wear their own black shoes. Please don’t make them buy dyed indigo shoes. I promise you they will never wear them again. No one will be looking at your bridesmaids shoes (unless one of them wears a different color from the rest). So as long as they all have black shoes, they will be fine. They will appreciate you not making them buy special shoes too.
There is no reason to wear heels if you dont want to. With this dress, your shoes wont be seen much anyway. There are lots of cute brides ballet slippers, as well as bridal shoes in flats (not many, but there are some).
For the bridesmaids, choose something that goes with their dress. It does not need to be the same as yours.

Anything goes in this situation. I let my bridesmaids wear whatever shoe they wanted as long as it was silver. That way, they were comfortable all day. Some even wore shoes (nice looking, not worn) they aready had in their closets. I also wore siver strappy sandals. The dresses were all long, so no one really saw their shoes anyway. I think they appreciated getting to control what they wore, even if it was this small thing. I had them all wear their hair down and mine was up to be different.
You could wear a comfy pair of flats or ballerina shoes, but be sure to wear them with your final fitting so the length is perfect and you are not tripping on the dress.
As for the bridesmaids if they like heels you could go with a clear type shoe with the indigo color rhinestones on it.
Go to ninewest.com, they have a shoe there called have love or love… either way it is a nice shoe. Great for your dress. Then go to payless, they have a shoe there called love or have love. Similar to the shoe at ninewest but not quite the same, it is a good shoe for your bridesmaids and you can get the ones at payless colored any color you want. The shoe at ninewest comes in white…. my dress was ivory and no one could tell, non the less, no one looks at your shoes until he takes off the garder.
I was in a wedding last year and the bride picked the shoes she wanted from Alfred Angelo to go with our dresses but by the end of the wedding ceremony everyone’s feet hurt really bad you should try on your shoes and pick what you like and what is comfortable to you and then you pick 2-3 shoes you like and have you bridesmaids do the same with trying them on cause it so not fun with a cute shoe and you feet are hurting
Wow! What a gorgeous dress that is! If yours is similar, I am sure that you’ll look like a princess.
Shoes. Just get shoes with a lower heel. They can be heels, but if you want to feel comfortable, make it with the heels 2 inch or less. Or, sandals with lower heels. Maybe you can get them dyed to match your dress.
Bridesmaids can either have dyed indigo, or simply black shoes. Maybe just plain black pumps or sandals with a lower heel, like yours. That would be the most reasonable in cost. I think it would look nicer if they all matched in style.
David’s Bridal has dyable if you want to find a color that will match your dress. For your bridesmaids please let them wear their own black shoes. Indigo dress + indigo shoes is just too much indigo. Black shoes will look very nice and much more classy and they can actually use them again.
You should go with a silver medium heel shoes since it would look fabulous with the dress and wont the heel wont pressure your feet so much You can always check out. They got nice shoes.,
As for your brides maids – keep them indigo and make theirs a medium heel too. They dont all have to be indigo too – some can wear black and besides its not like anyone will be dying to look at their feet – more like the hair and dress.
good luck.
When I got married, I wanted to find off-white shoes to match my dress. All the shoes that I tried, I hated them. Then I went and started trying the silver shoes, what a difference. I made the mistake of getting 4 inch heels and not bringing a change of shoes. Needless to say I ended up walking around my reception barefoot(my dress was long enough that nobody noticed). I would suggest a comfortable heeled silver shoe. Get a very low heel or flat in a matching color in case you need to change. For the bridesmaids, if you can’t find a shoe that matches the dresses, remember that black goes with everything.
Please, please, please, do not make your bridesmaids get dyeable shoes. They are usually pretty costly. My friend made us get them, and I will never wear them again. Especially if the bridesmaids’ dresses are long, their shoes don’t all have to match. I would let them get black in any style they like that they might actually wear again (maybe give them some guidelines such as no more than a two-inch heel, open toe, etc.)
If you’re not comfortable in heels, don’t wear them the day of your wedding! It will be a very long day, and you don’t need to be uncomfortable. I like the idea for silver shoes for you if you can’t find something to match exactly. There are some cute styles on (mentioned above) that are less than 1″ heels for you.
Just find a low heel or kitten heel slingback maybe.
For the bridesmaids, just have them choose a black pump or sandals, depending on the style of dress, then they can re-wear the shoes.
I am actually going to wear a ballet slipper shoe. I have a temporary disability and don’t have a lot of strength in my legs and tend to wobble a little bit at times. I was going to wear a low heel, but was still afraid of falling, so I opted for the ballet slipper. A big plus is that they will be so much more comfortable. For the bridesmaids you could go with indigo or black. They don’t necessarily all have to get shoes that match, but if they can agree on a specific style it would look better to match them. You could also have them get a dyeable shoe and dye it indigo. Congrats on your wedding.
