depends, if its like a thin strap and short plus ur not wearing black tights with it then yea. but the red shoes, i don’t think so. sounds like a weird combination for anyparty.
Since the time is what it is, no this is not unreasonable. However, if you want to go with tradition and class, do not do this. It is way to out there. But then again if you know this couple and you know that they are kind of funky and out going and different, then I’d say more power to you for wearing an outfit like that.

Black dress? No. With Red shoes? TACKY! Please don’t do it to yourself. Your shoes should not be lighter than your dress. Black dress…black shoes.
