Try rhinestones. You should be able to find some at good craft stores.
I just got a pair of shoes from a group called Happyfeet. They send rhinestone encrusted jellies to cancer patients for free to boost their spirits. I love em. I’m a 6 yr ovarian cancer survivor. (( get your GYN checkups to… its not just the ‘girls’ we need to check)) The shoes sparkle and twinkle especially outside.
I think putting rhinestones on your shoes would be a fine idea.
Just be very careful as you apply them to the shoes.
.
You will need fabric glue and tweezers to hold the rhinestones.
You can spread the stones out on the table till you get the design you want.
Enjoy your special day. Rhinestones are fairly inexpensive.
Joy to you.
go to michaels or a fabric store and buy the packs of swarovski crystals. they come in all sizes and colors and even some shapes (like hearts and stars, square and round). use fabric glue to attach them to your shoes
Check at Joanne Fabrics or Michaels I have not done it personally but saw someone do it on A Wedding Story.
They have little rhine stones there – and the right glue etc.
(glue gun)
I would use clear Swarovski crystals. I make jewelry with them. It’s hard to suggest how to attach them without knowing what they look like. Fabric glue would work, but not that great. If they are a satin-y shoe, you could sew them on.
If you are looking to buy a lot of the crystals, I would go to and search for Swarovski. You’ll find a much better deal in bulk there.
You can buy jewels and gems at most any craft store such as Michael or JoAnne’s fabric…You can simply glue them on.
I actually special ordered my wedding shoes and they had stones on them as well…bad part is that no one really even noticed them because my dress was down to the floor and I had them off after dinner to dance the night away…All I’m saying is that don’t put too much into it. People may get a glimpse when he’s taking your garter off, but that’s about it….Good luck and congrats!
