  you should always buy clothes first, but sometimes you can luck up and find a really good pair of shoes , then you look for the outfit next

  well clothes first u can find easily any shoes to go with the shoes but finding clothes that go with the shoe is harder and might take u a long time

  Shoes are an investment (kinda, for me at least) haha. So I’d pick those 1st. Get ones you really like & can wear with a lot of stuff.

  The outfit you might wear a couple of times, but the shoes you will prob. wear more. If you get black or brown, it will not be hard at all to find a matching outfit. So pick those out 1st!

  It really doesn’t matter but a lot of times i buy the shoe first,If it’s a gym shoe but dress shoes buy the clothes first because you need to know the color schemes and it’s easier to match. Trust me

  I think it is so easy to find an outfit then shoes, so my choice is to find the shoes first then thee outfit. clothes really tell alot about a person and their style, so I will pick out a slick pair of shoe then go for the out fit……( but sometimes it may go the other way around.

  I know everyone is saying get the clothes first, but in your case you should get the shoes first. If you get shoes to match your pantyhose (taupe, black, etc.) then almost any clothing item will go with them.

  outfit first! then shoes. you need to be sure your shoes go with your outfit…not the other way around

  I would say shoes first since they seem to be the harder find for you (I am the same way).

  As for the clothes you can always find some suitable separates for the occasion if you can’t find that great outfit in time. One things for sure if your feet hurt for the evening, no matter what kick a** outfit you have on, you will be uncomfortable.
