For my sister’s wedding shoes she bought a pair of plain white “ballet” style slippers. We wanted to add some type of beading or embellishments. Is there a type of glue that would hold up to all the dancing, without looking sloppy? Sewing is not an option because there is a layer of leather on the inside of the shoe. Any other products or suggestions? (please keep in mind that these are for a bride, so they need to look semi-elegant if possible.) Thanks!
The shoes are covered in satin on the outside with a leather underside.

What are the ballet slippers made of on the outside?
If it is satin/fabric, you can use fabric glue. I’ve done this myself, and it works great. You can get the fabric glue at the sewing or craft store. One brand is Fabri-tac.
You can read about the Fabri-tac here, depending on what the shoe is made of it will most likely work for you,
Here are some links to the DIY network to give you some ideas/tips:
Hope this helps. Good luck.
EDIT: Okay, thanks for the update. The Fabri-Tac will work just fabulously.
